The company says it doubles the performance and power with the support of a second discrete GPU -- up to Nvidia's GeForce GTX 680M 4 GB or AMD's Radeon HD 7970M -- for a "true game changing experience." That said, this laptop comes with full support for Nvidia SLI and AMD CrossFireX support for fragging in high-def on the go.

And This shock and awe laptop starts at $1,882 and features a wide 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED-lit Grade A display with a glossy or matte finish, overclocked Intel 3rd-generation ("Ivy Bridge" mobile processors (up to 4.5 GHz with Turbo Boost), up to 32 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz RAM,) and a full-size illuminated keyboard with a numeric pad. An exclusive A-Panel design will be available in the future in matte black, matte red, or your choice of custom paint -- the traditional style is available now.

For the CPU, the base model comes packed with the 2.60 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 3320M with 3 MB of cache. The most expensive option offered with this notebook is an overclocked Intel Extreme Edition Core i7-3920XM quad-core CPU (4.1 GHz - 4.5 GHz with Turbo Boost) with 8 MB cache, costing an additional $1077. On the RAM front, 32 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz memory (4 x 8 GB) will cost an extra $286.

Radeon HD 7990 And GeForce GTX 690 Bring Out The Big Guns

With its factory overclock, PowerColor's Devil13 HD7990 6 GB comes very close to the GeForce GTX 690 in our performance-oriented tests. Meanwhile, HIS' 7970 X2, which was shown off at Computex, but not necessarily a sure thing, is finally ready. Elevated clock rates are supposed to make the HIS card the fastest graphics card, period. But do the benchmarks concur? Let's have a look at how these three boards stack up on paper first.

Technically, the HIS card looks like it holds a strong position. If those numbers translate into real-world performance, and if micro-stuttering isn't a problem for AMD, it could be winner. Then again, already saw in GeForce GTX 690 Review: Testing Nvidia's Sexiest Graphics Card that Nvidia put a lot of effort into creating a fast, svelte, and quiet offering in its GeForce GTX 690. That'll be a tough act to follow.

google drops in china search market

After Google's public disagreement with the Chinese government over censorship in 2011, the google  company moved its servers to Hong Kong and has since lost ground to several home-grown Chinese search engines. And According to tech site, the Register, searches on Google from within China often return faulty results or errors leading many to choose the self-censoring local search sites.

From Statistics released by analytics site CNZZ.com last month show Google now sits fourth in the search market with around 4.5 per cent of page views and unique visits. And from Chinese search sites Baidu [(which handles 73 per cent of Chinese search queries], Qihoo and Sogou all sit above Google in the rankings - with Bing coming in at sixth place.

To Google's Maps service has also taken a hit in China, dropping from a 17.5 per cent share to 9 per cent according to figured from Bejing-based Analysis International. And a  future doesn't look especially bright either. The market for mapping applications could get tougher following new proposed regulations and a new Google tool that alerts users if a keyword will cause censorship is likely to irk the Communist Party Chinese government.

What Microsoft working on smartphone design?

The Hot on the heels of Microsoft's double launch of Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this week, comes the news that the software giant may be preparing to enter the smartphone market. An article published in the Wall Street Journal states that Microsoft is working with Asian component suppliers to test its own smartphone design, according to sources .According to reports, Microsoft is working on the design for its own smartphone handset.

A Analysts have speculated for some time now about whether or not Microsoft has been working on a smartphone. Not only could it feasibly be a strong competitor to the iPhone 5, but it could double as Microsoft's entry into the handheld gaming console market - which is currently dominated by Nintendo and Sony. Given that smarthphone gaming has been stealing the march on the DS and PS Vita handhelds for quite a while now, due to the smartphone gaming business model and the devices' multi-purpose applications beyond gaming, a Microsoft smartphone would be a strong first step.

The According to the article, some officials at Microsoft's parts suppliers, who declined to be named, say the company is testing a smartphone design but it's unclear at present if a device is set to go into mass production.

A Launch of SmartGlass functionality last week could also be an indication that Microsoft is looking at putting more devices into the market that have handheld functionality.

Apple  with The 3rd generation iPad set record sales in its first weekend back in March by selling 3 million units. Releasing a new iPad as soon as Apple did doesn’t seem to have slowed the pace at which their tablets sell, even if we’re talking about two separate devices this time around.

Apple didn’t specify how many iPad mini’s and iPad 4′s were sold but the total number is still worth mentioning. The 3 million are all Wi-Fi only models and Apple expects the Wi-Fi + Cellular options of both tablets to ship in a few weeks in the US with more countries to be added later this year. According to Brian White, a Topeka Capital Markets analyst, the iPad mini was sold out at around 60% of surveyed Apple retail stores in the US.

Google opens the playground for an Android event October 29th . The LG E960 Mako -- which taken to calling the Nexus G but has also been referred to as the Nexus 4, seems to be a sure bet to make an appearance after its many leaks, and a 32GB Nexus 7 variant rates as highly probable.

There have also been long-running rumors that will see Nexus hardware from more than one manufacturer, although lately whispers have focused on the possibility of a 5-inch phablet from HTC, and a 10-inch Nexus-branded tablet made by Samsung. Without the benefit of physical evidence  take those with a huge grain of salt, but obviously be ready for anything.

Former Nokia Money crew kicks off iKaaz mobile payments

Former Nokia Money crew kicks off iKaaz mobile payments, lets shops go with or without NFC. This Day for mobile payments. Multiple former Nokia Money veterans have formally launched iKaaz, a two-pronged strategy to phone commece where choice is the order of the day. The first components, M-POS and its accompanying Tap & Pay, are rough equivalents to familiar NFC-based services like Google Wallet that rely on an NFC tag and matching app for in-store sales.

Consumer Wallet for Enterprises occupies more familiar territory for the ex-Nokia crew[ it provides a mobile account that doesn't require NFC or even an app, letting those in developing countries exchange funds through SMS or USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) if they're sporting basic handsets. Us end users will need to wait for actual implementations before we see iKaaz for ourselves, but the sheer flexibility could have us paying through our phones in some unexpected places.]

CyberPower reveals Fang III Taipan SLI gaming notebook

CyberPower reveals Fang III Taipan SLI gaming notebook, CyberPower is one of the better known builders of gaming desktops, but the company also makes supercharged laptops capable of running the latest GPU-punishing titles. The Fang III Taipan is its latest portable offering, and it carries both high-end components and a high-end price.

CyberPower:  and The default configuration will set you back a heart-stopping $1,819, but the 2.4GHz Core i7, 16GB of DDR3 RAM and pair of Geforce GTX 670Ms in an SLI arrangement ensure you're getting your money's worth. There's also a 60GB SSD and 1TB hard drive under the hood so you don't have to choose between performance or storage. You can also pair up a couple of SSDs in a RAID if that's your thing.

CyberPower : And To get the most out of all that power there's a 17.3-inch 1,920 x 1,080 LED panel and an Onkyo sound system with a subwoofer for your aural enjoyment. Obviously, the Taipan is only portable in the loosest of sense considering its bulky 8.6-pound frame, but we doubt anyone would really want to carry roughly $2,000 worth of computer with them in public anyway. Heck, if you really wanted to trick this thing out with 32GB of RAM, a 3.0GHz Core i7, 1TB of SSD storage and a pair of GTX 680Ms you could easily top $5,000. Hit up the source link to configure your own.

iPhone 5 fresh review - id gadget

id gadget : This review come from Japan’s Sharp Corp. said it will start shipping screens destined for a new Apple iPhone that is widely expected to be released in October ahead of "pre Christmas shopping season". (Shipments will start in August) Sharp’s new president, Takashi Okuda, said at a press briefing in Tokyo on Thursday after the company released its latest quarterly earnings. But Apple has kept quiet about the iPhone 5 release date and  new phone’s features, some of the top rumors circulating on the web focus on screen size, display resolution, and a significantly down-sized dock connector.

Rumor alleges that consumers can expect the screen size on the iPhone 5 to be about 30% larger than on previous models.  Accompanying this rumor is the suggestion that the new phone will also be thinner.  And The technology used by Sharp, called in-cell, is reportedly a half a millimeter thinner than the technology utilized in current iPhone models. Sharp technology also utilizes touch sensors, replacing the need for the inclusion of an LCD panel.

And  anticipation focuses on the improved resolution of the iPhone 5.  Consensus seems to be that the phone will feature a 16:9 aspect ratio, which basically equates to HD quality resolution on the screen as well as in photos and video that the phone captures. Appears likely that the new phone will have a smaller dock connector.  This will make past connector cords pretty much useless, and the necessity of this feature seems to be a point of debate among enthusiasts. Smaller dock will surely drive need for users to buy new accessories, which seems to be the major point of contention.
